History

Founded in 2007, Edge Testing Solutions has quickly built up a very strong reputation as a market leading provider of software testing solutions.

Edge was founded by Brian Ferrie and the late Susan Chadwick in 2007, both having a wealth of experience in the industry and a proven track record of delivering excellence. Following 5 years of continued growth, in September 2012, we expanded our presence outside Scotland, opening an office in Birmingham. This was followed by our London office at the start of 2014 and this has accelerated the growth of the business.

In 2013 we launched a new division, Digital Test Hub, to provide low-cost on demand services - the first of its kind in the UK. This has been very well received by the market and this is the fastest growing area of our business. In 2017, based on the success of the first, a second Digital Test Hub was opened in Birmingham. In 2019, a third Digital Test Hub will be opening in Manchester.

In 2018 Edge Testing became part of Eurofins Digital Testing, the world’s leading Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) specialists, who operate globally with test lab facilities in the UK, USA, Belgium, Poland, Sweden and Hong Kong.

However, this does not change how we work with our customers and it is definitely business as usual. Our customers remain the forefront of our minds, that is why we like to innovate and provide new offerings to support their requirements and to meet market trends.

As part of Eurofins Digital Testing we can extend the range of products and services offered, including extensive testing services, additonal Testing tools, staffing and resourcing, training courses and comprehensive cyber security services and support. Eurofins Digital Testing works with key high-technology businesses in the consumer electronics, software development, automotive, IoT, connected health and media markets.

The business has strong governance in place and our processes and procedures are underpinned by our ISO9001 and ISO27001 accreditations.
